Description of work

A sycamore block, with one natural edge, pyrographed with a picture of Peacock Row, in Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire. This is just one of many narrow alleyways in the seaside village, just off the main tarmac road that leads down to the bay.

The block, being a couple of inches thick, is free standing. It has been polished with three coats of wax - tripoli wax to start, then white diamond, then buffed to a good polish with carnauba wax.
